It's official. One of my friends, Joel Graves, a full time officer in the Marine Corps, desribed Zoë after meeting her as "cute". I was later told that that word does not exist in the Marine Corps vernacular, and it apparently took a lot of muscular effort in his tongue to say the C-word since it has been ages that he's actually expressed that word out of his mouth. He felt he needed to say it to fully and accurately describe our kid (shortly afterwards, his tongue cramped). Wow! Federal confirmation of her cuteness!
